Floating Cabinet
This project is a drawer cabinet that I designed for a client. There are no attachments or fasteners to hold the cabinet in place. The cabinet is designed with a slit at the top to simply slide in-between the stem of a cantilevered T- beam suspended from the wall. The base is made of red oak and is wrapped on three sides with dark mahogany for a strong contrast. Lines are clean and sleek for a modern look. The overall effect is the appearance that the cabinet is "floating"
